Name me Lawand, the powerful feature documentary directed by Edward Lovelace has arrived in cinemas with nationwide screenings from this weekend.
The film tells the story of a profoundly deaf Kurdish boy and his journey to discover language in a new home.
It was sound designed and 5.1 mixed at King Lear and was crafted to reflect the sonic POV of Lawand, to help a hearing audience experience how it might have felt during his extraordinary journey.
